Since when Kwankwaso decided to dump the People’s Democratic party for the NNPP new Nigeria People’s Party, there have been cracks in the once “Almighty”Kwankwasiyya movement where some of his diehards decided not to follow him to the NNPP.

A source at the meeting which held at Alhaji Sule Lamido’s residence in Kano, said  former Governor Kwankwaso’s loyalists that attended the meeting are his former commissioner’s when he held sway as Governor of Kano state from 2011 to 2015,they are Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani,Yusuf Bello Dambatta and a Professor of Mass communications Dr. Umar Faruk Jibril, Abubakar Nuhu Danburan.

Kwankwaso’s Tricks to Destabilize PDP Ahead of his Decamping to NNPP

During the meeting former Governor Sule Lamido was the one who chaired the meeting as an elder statesman and a leader of the PDP in Nigeria.

Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo was said to be in the meeting, after the meeting the stakeholders calls on the National working committee of the PDP to dissolve Kano state executives immediately and appoint caretaker.

One of their reasons was that the former Governor of Kano state Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is sabotaging the PDP and at the same time building his new party the NNPP,they said if action is not taking urgently the desperation by former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is to deny PDP the opportunity to field any candidate during the 2023 elections as such the NWC is leaving the party supporters in Limbo.

They said the time frame for buying of nomination forms ends on 1st April 2022 that will definitely deny PDP the opportunity of presenting candidates for the 2023 election there by giving chance to NNPP and other parties.
