ADP Gubernatorial Candidate Felicitates With Kwankwaso @66

The Kano ADP Governorship candidate and a Member of the House of Representatives, Municipal Federal Constituency, Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada has felicitated with the NNPP Presidential candidate and two term Governor of Kano state Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who celebrated his 66th birthday on the 21st October 2022.

 

Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada made the statement in a release issued to newsmen by the Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Kano.

Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada noted that Kwankwaso’s landmark achievement as Governor of Kano State between 1999 and 2003 and 2011 to 2015 is something to reminisce about especially in the aspect of human and infrastructural development.

Kwankwaso’s foreign scholarship is one of the good policies I copied from the past Governors of Kano state such as Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s human development and other Infrastructures.

From 2015 to date and as member of the house of representatives, I embarked on the empowerment of nearly one hundred thousand Youth and Women on various skills for self reliance.”said Sharada

“Again about 100 children of the less previlege were opportuned of getting sponsorship to Sudan for study in their chosen disciplines through Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada foundation.

The candidate said he did all these with the little funds at his disposal .”

The Governoship candidate pointed out that the empowerment and sponsorship was solely his effort and no grant from the state’s resources.

He promised to embark on more educational reforms including foreign scholarship when he wins 2023 general elections. He also promised to rejuvenate the tertiary institutions at home with adequate manpower and learning materials.

The ADP Governorship also challenged some of his opponents on their achievements especially on foreign scholarship for the children of the less previleged.

He commended Kwankwaso for instituting Sadaqa jariya for his father, prayed to the Almighty Allah to guide him and repose the soul of his father, the late Majidadin Kano.

Sultan of Sokoto Urges Nigerians to Stop Criticizing Leaders and Allow God to Deal With Them

Nigerians have been urged to desist from castigating their leaders and all those in authority.

This call was made to Nigerians by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III on Monday at the the Regional Conference on Climate Change-Induced Conflicts in Northern Nigeria hosted in Kaduna.

According to the Sultan, it is important that Nigerians rather than insult their leaders, they should allow God to really with them.

He also urgee Nigerians to contibue praying for their keaders and tne nation as a whole.

He further called on religious leadera accros Nigeria to quit misleadinh members of ghwir congregation.

“A lot of people say we have never had it so bad, but no matter how difficult it is, ease will come. We believe nothing lasts forever.

“Nothing bad and nothing good lasts forever. Let us intensify prayers in our congregations and encourage our followers to pray for our leaders.

“We will not castigate them; we will allow Almighty Allah to deal with them as He wishes and He will,” the Sultan notes.

Breaking: Court Drops Charges Against Minors

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday struck out the charges brought against a total of 119 #EndBadGovernance protesters.

All 119 protesters were arraigned on Friday, November 1 on charges bordering on Treason felony, inciting to mutiny, among others.

The defendants were arraigned in two batches at the previous proceeding.

The first batch comprised a total of 76 protesters which included 32 minors and the second batch a total of 43 protesters.

The trial judge, Justice Obiora Egwuatu, struck out the suit following an application by the counsel to the Attorney General of the Federation, M. D Abubakar, to take over and discontinue the matter.
