Speaker Tajuddin Pressurising 187 Northern Lawmakers to Endorse Tinubu’s Tax Reform Bill – Gentile

A political affairs commentator, Alhaji Bashir Hayatu Gentile, has accused the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Tajuddin Abbas, of pressurising 187 Northern lawmakers who are in the House of represenststives to endorse President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s Tax Reform Bill, which is allegedly meant to impoverish the Northern region.

Alhaji Bashir Hayatu Gentile stated this in an audio being circulated, which was obtained by NIGERIAN TRACKER.

Alhaji Bashir Hayatu Gentile, the fearless political affairs commentator, urges Tajuddin Abbas, who is from the northern part of Nigeria, to fear Almighty Allah as the world is vanity.

He said his background as a prince of the North supersedes his interest because power is transient and he can leave it anytime from now.

According to Gentile, someone like the Speaker, who comes from the revered Zazzau Emirate, shouldn’t be part of a policy meant to impoverish the region from which he came.

Bashir Hayatu Gentile, a graduate from the University of London, said he was reliably informed by the Northern lawmakers about the pressure being mounted on them by Speaker Tajuddin Abbas to make President Tinubu’s Tax Reform Bill scale through the House of Representatives by hook or crook.

Recently, the Tax Reform Bill being proposed by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu is receiving wide condemnation from different parts of the country, as many Islamic clerics condemned the move in their Friday sermons.

I’m calling on such journalists who refused to register with us for reasons best known to them to do so as we will not fold our arms seeing Online Journalists misbehaving and their misconduct will be seen like we are all the same.
