KANO, Nigeria  – The One Voice Development Initiative has called for the immediate release of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari, praising his distinguished service and condemning what they perceive as unjust incarceration.

The One Voice Development Initiative decried the denial of bail to Kyari, describing it as a violation of his fundamental rights and a subversion of constitutional order. They criticized the disparity in treatment between Kyari and individuals accused of more serious offenses, arguing that it undermines principles of fairness and equality.
