<p>&#8220;Our attention has been drawn to a report by some section of the media aimed at blackmailing and tarnishing the good image of Chairman Gerawa Group of Companies, Alhaji Isa Gerawa and create Chaos in our dear state Jigawa.</p>
<p>The report was nothing but an intentional, deliberate and well calculated plans by mischief makers, capitalisimg on some portion of a statement made by chairman at an event to create unnecessary tension.</p>

<p>Jigawa is our state, and it is our duty to caution our leaders on what we believe are not going on the right way, but we don&#8217;t have any intention to blackmail anybody based on his or her political ideology.</p>
<p>In a statement by his Media aide Dauda Ali Kura, Alhaji Isah Gerawa reiterated his earlier statement that, we need to make changes on the way things are going in Jigawa, we need to see that our people are empowered.</p>
<p>We will continue to be law abiding citizens and respectful to our constituted authorities, and anybody feel hurts by my statement, it is good to note that, is not intentionally targeted at him or her but a mere coincidence.</p>
