The slaughter and distribution

A Humanitarian organization based in Malaysia Yayasan Budi Ihsan has slaughtered and distributed about one Hundred Cows to less privileged in the society, which included: vulnerable women, widows and orphans caregivers in Kano to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

The organization, which is known world-wide for it’s philanthropic services has been organizing the event in Kano for some years.

During the distribution of the meat, after putting a well organized system to prevent overcrowding and stampede, hundreds of beneficiaries collected the meat at two different designated locations in Kano.

PTDF,TETFUND, and other Nigeria overseas scholarship training schemes: why are we doing the training?

Yayasan Budi Ihsan, through their representative, Dr Habib Awais said, the gesture was to put smile on the faces of orphans and other less privileged members of the society, especially as the life is becoming unbearable for many people across the globe presently.

As part of the measure to ensure transparency and openness in the conduct of the exercise. The organization’s representative Dr Habib Awais engaged and invited the umbrella body, of all NGOs operating in Kano State, under the auspices of Kano Civil Society Forum, which was led by the Forum’s President Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya, to monitor the whole process.

Speaking to newsmen who covered the slaughtering and distribution of the meat, Amb. Ibrahim Waiya applauded the organization for the gesture and Dr. Awais for the well coordinated distribution process, describing the exercise as the most successful one compared to previous exercises.

‘I have witnessed and monitored the process, right from the purchase of the cows, transportation, engaging workers, slaughtering, distribution and post distribution assessment, it was a job well done, indeed”

”I must commend Yayasan Budi Ihsan for this wonderful initiative, it really helped, I must also commend Dr Habib Awais for the well thought plan of the entire exercise which led to the successful conduct of this year’s exercise”

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen, expressed deep gratitude to Yayasan Budi Ihsan for the gesture and pray to Almighty Allah to reward the initiators and their donors with a highest rank in Jannatul Firdaus.
And the Kano people look forward to more support to the less privileged in our State and beyond.
