He said when the lockdown was lifted industries in Kano and it’s neighbouring Jigawa State returned to partial operations.

Sani Hussein pointed out that the Operations of the industries was below capacity noting that one has to have a target for a year on what to manufacture and sale.

According to him the relationship between cost and profit is indispensable .

So the estimation of ones production determined the projected profit.

He said as the year begins most manufacturers set a target for themselves and unfortunately the lock down retarded their projected profit .

The chairman MAN added that apart from ten thousand job lose ,the manufacturers association of Nigeria have lost more than one billion Naira to Covid-19 Pandemic.

The MAN President says efforts are being made to recover from the lose and restore people to their jobs but that cannot be possible.
