“As at now Kano Pillars Stadium has outlived its usefulness and has since been surrounded by shops erected by the State Government, the only solution for  whose stalls were demolished is for the government to allocate Kano Pillars Stadium for its use ”

Sarkin Kasuwa said there have been calls to relocate temporary shop owners to Holborn behind  Bompai but that place is not feasible therefore relocating them to a closer place like the Kano pillars stadium should be of utmost priority by Kano state government.

Ambassador Nafiu Nuhu Indabo said in Kano there are many football pitches that meet international standards including Sani Abacha Stadium, so utilizing Kano Pillars Stadium is very essential for Businesses who were operating in temporary containers to relocate there.

The Sarkin Kasuwa added that   Kano is a state blessed with vast land and if the state Government decides it uses lands outside the city and constructs stadiums for footballs.

He further urged the state government to intensify efforts and address the plight of Businessmen operating in the market.
