Jonathan has arrived in Mali on a peace mission

Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has arrived Bamako, the capital of Mali on a peace mission to discuss several issues with stakeholders

The former President of Nigeria is in Bamako as a leader of the Economic Community of West African state’s peace mission in Mali.

Since his arrival at the capital Dr, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been meeting with political, religious, and civil society leaders.

Dr Jonathan chatting with Newsmen

He said he is optimistic the mission with which he visited Bamako will yield a positive result.

Dr. Jonthan said his mission has well been received by different stakeholders who are a party to the peace mission in Mali.

Since his defeat during the 2015 general elections former Nigeria’s President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been attending International assignments and has been leading different observer mission at elections in African and European countries
