<p>The Chairman of the Kano Council of Ulama and a renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, led the funeral prayers for the late business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.</p>
<p>The funeral prayers, which were held in absentia (Salatul Ghaib), were attended by thousands of Muslim faithful at Umar Bin Khattab Masjid in Kano metropolis.</p>
<p>The Commandant General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, before the commencement of the prayers, addressed the Muslim faithful on the importance and historical significance of funeral prayers in absentia.</p>
