<p dir="ltr"><b> &#8211;</b> Concerned residents and alumni of Kano Commercial School Airport Road Kano are calling on the Kano State Government to demolish a hotel they claim is negatively impacting the morality of students. <p dir="ltr">Bashir Sharif Ibrahim Liman, President of the Kano Commercial School Old Boys Association, addressed journalists at the school, expressing deep concern over the proximity of the hotel to the educational institution. <p dir="ltr">Liman revealed that despite repeated complaints to the Kano State Anti-Corruption Commission, the Kano Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), and the Kano State Hisbah Board, no action has been taken by the concerned agencies to address the situation.</p>

<p dir="ltr">&#8220;We have raised this issue with all the relevant authorities, yet nothing has been done,&#8221; Liman said. &#8220;The hotel is situated on government-owned land, previously used as a pedestrian walkway, and its presence at the school gate is unacceptable. We don&#8217;t even know who authorized the construction of the hotel.&#8221;</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Old Boys Association, along with concerned residents, is now urging the state government to take immediate action and demolish the hotel. They argue that the establishment&#8217;s location is inappropriate, especially given the vulnerable age group of the students, and that it could lead to a decline in moral standards within the school community.</p>
