Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa has criticized Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa over his recent comments attacking NNPP National Leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Kofa, an ally of Kwankwaso, urged Doguwa to focus on his legislative duties and cease his “reckless and false statements.”

Abdulmumin expressed disappointment that Doguwa did not apologize for his remarks about Kwankwaso, describing Doguwa’s response as “petty” and motivated by a “superiority complex.” He urged the public to disregard Doguwa’s comments.

Highlighting his credentials, Abdulmumin stated that, unlike Doguwa, who has been in the House of Representatives for over three decades without advancing to higher positions, Kwankwaso has held various high-profile roles, including two-term Governor of Kano State and Minister of Defence. Abdulmumin emphasized Kwankwaso’s extensive political achievements and influence, contrasting them with Doguwa’s career.

Abdulmumin accused Doguwa of attempting to gain political favor by attacking Kwankwaso to impress leaders in Abuja. He suggested that Doguwa’s actions are an attempt to position himself as the APC leader in Kano by opposing Kwankwaso.

In a final jab, Abdulmumin mocked Doguwa’s traditional status, remarking that his “frustration” stems from wearing a turban without an accompanying title. He sarcastically suggested Doguwa embrace the title “Sardauna of Turban.” Abdulmumin reaffirmed Kwankwaso’s commitment to peace and his influence as a leading political figure in Northern Nigeria.
