The Director General of the National Productivity Centre Dr Baffa Babba Danagundi has received a petition of misappropriation by the former Director General of the centre Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji Mustapha
The content of the petition sighted by this paper centred on the misappropriation of 2.5% administrative charges on the staff of the agency in which the staff were given a token of 100,000 each after a bitter complaint.
The petition alleged that the DG was not alone in this gross misconduct but with the support of the agency’s head of account as well as the Director of procurement.
The former DG also purchased old vehicles for the agency while approval was given for new ones.
It further alleged the compromising of an audit report which was recently conducted in the agency during his tenure as Director General.
A staff of the agency who pleaded for anonymity confirmed to this paper that the Director General of the centre has received the petition but hasn’t spoken about it.
“Let’s wait for next week to hear from the DG but he has received the petition a day after his assumption to office, it is on his table”. The source said.
