Renowned Kannywood actress Hadiza Gabon has urged women not to join Kannywood, citing that the disadvantages of joining the industry by women outweigh the advantages.
Hadiza Gabon stated this during an interview on her talk show, which is broadcast on her YouTube channel monitored by NIGERIAN TRACKER.
Gabon made these remarks to her guest, popular Kannywood actress Surayya Aminu, known as Rayya, when she hosted her on the program.
Gabon told Surayya Aminu, “If a woman comes to me and says she wants to join Kannywood, I will advise her to stop. If she insists, I will wish her goodwill. But I’m telling you, it’s better for a woman to work hard, study, and marry.”
