<p>According to an impeccable and credible source told NIGERIAN TRACKER that any time from now the state Governor will assent to the law.</p>
<p>Reports says that the Assembly repeale the Emirates Law on Thursday during its plenary session amidst tight security.</p>

<p>Already, the current Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayeo and his Bichi counterpart Nasiru Ado Bayero have travelled out of the state.</p>
<p>Recall that Mr Sanusi was dethroned in March 2020 by former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, following a protracted political dispute.</p>

<p>Mr Ganduje had then created the four new Emirates to reduce the influence of the Once powerful Kano Emirate.</p>

<p>All eyes are now on the modalities and process the State Government will make to pave way for the return of the 14th Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammad Sunusi Lamido Aminu Sunusi.</p>
