<p>As the days for the NFF elective congress beckons, LaLiga&#8217;s Communications Coordinator in Nigeria, Ayodeji Adegbenro has joined the race to serve as a board member if elected in the forthcoming NFF elections in Benin City.</p>
<p>Mr. Adegbenro purchased his form on Tuesday in Abuja at the electoral committee&#8217;s secretariat as preparations towards this year&#8217;s NFF&#8217;s election continues to gather momentum.</p>
<p>A graduate of Federal University of Technology, Akure, Mr. Adegbenro has over a decade of experience in sports journalism.</p>

<p>Furthermore, Mr. Adegbenro also holds a Masters Degree in sports management from London Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing his PhD in sports management at Concordia University, Chicago, Illinois in the United States.</p>
<p>Mr. Adegbenro served in different managerial capacities including Head of football (non technical) at COD United FC and also Deputy Director of Marketing and Cooperate Affairs at Ondo State Football Agency.</p>

<p>The elections to ursher in a new NFF Executive Committee is scheduled to take place on the 30th of September in Benin City, the Edo State capital.</p>
