As the days for the NFF elective congress beckons, LaLiga’s Communications Coordinator in Nigeria, Ayodeji Adegbenro has joined the race to serve as a board member if elected in the forthcoming NFF elections in Benin City.
Mr. Adegbenro purchased his form on Tuesday in Abuja at the electoral committee’s secretariat as preparations towards this year’s NFF’s election continues to gather momentum.
A graduate of Federal University of Technology, Akure, Mr. Adegbenro has over a decade of experience in sports journalism.
Furthermore, Mr. Adegbenro also holds a Masters Degree in sports management from London Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing his PhD in sports management at Concordia University, Chicago, Illinois in the United States.
Mr. Adegbenro served in different managerial capacities including Head of football (non technical) at COD United FC and also Deputy Director of Marketing and Cooperate Affairs at Ondo State Football Agency.
Ayodeji Adegbenro hails from Ondo State, South-West Nigeria and is presently LaLiga Nigeria’s Communications Coordinator.
The elections to ursher in a new NFF Executive Committee is scheduled to take place on the 30th of September in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
