KOPA Inaugurates Schools’ Documentary Committee

The National Body of Kofar Kudu special primary school(KOPA) old pupils Association has constituted a five members committee for producing a befitting documentary on their alma matter.

Inaugurating the committee during a stakeholders meeting on Saturday at school’s premises, Emir’s palace Kano. the chairman of the outfit Abubakar shehu Kwaru expressed optimism over the ability of members to deliver the assigned responsibility.

The chairman said that the committee is mandated as its terms of reference to produce video documentary as well as written literature (a book) of the historical antecedent of the school.

The committee is free to consult relevant stakeholders while gathering and compiling their inputs.

Kwaru announced that the committee has a six month duration to submit it’s works for launching.

The committee has Muhammad Nura Yusuf as Chairman, Mudassir Abba Labaran Secretary while Abdulqadir Gwangwazo, Abba Lafazi and Aisha Mukhtar will serve as members.

Similarly, the chairman of the Association Abubakar shehu Kwaru disclosed the expanding of the Executive members from ten to twenty.

He said this was to pave way for more old pupils to contribute their quarter towards elevating the school and education sector in general.

The stakeholders meeting was attended by almost all the Executives, class chairmen other Representatives and the Association’s mentor Malam Da’u Ahmed.
