A former Presidential Aspirant of the Social Democratic Party Dr. Ibrahim Datti Ahmad is Dead.
Dr. Ibrahim Datti Ahmad is one of the first generation of medical doctors in Kano.
He was also the chairman of supreme Council for Shariah in Nigeria.
When the Government of President Goodluck Jonathan wanted to dialogue with Boko Haram sect Dr Ibrahim Datti Ahmad was contacted among the personalities to mediate but decline to serve due to lack of sincerity on the part of Government.
During the aborted third republic he contested the presidency under the platform of defunct social democratic party.
His funeral prayer will take place at Alfurqan Mosque Nassarawa GRA in Kano located at Ali Avenue.
He left behind children and grand children,among his children is Dr Mukhtar Ibrahim Datti Ahmad a medical Doctor based in the United Kingdom.
Late Dr. Datti Ahmad is a devout Muslim who dedicated his life to the worship of the Almighty Allah
