SEDSAC Hails Kano Government Over Appointment Of Gaya Emir

The society for educational development and socio democratic activities SEDSAC has commended Kano state Government over the appointment of Emir of Gaya Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir.

In a communique issued to newsmen in Kano which is signed by the executive director Umar Hamisu Kofar Naisa said its imperative, to applaud and commend the laudable effort of the Governor of Kano State Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR and the King Makers of Gaya Emirate Council over putting the right thing in the right place by given a pragmatic recommendation on SEDSAC patron Alh. Ali Ibrahim Gaya to succeed the Late Emir of Gaya Alh. Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya.

However, SEDSAC wishes to express its readiness to liaise and collaborate with the five Emirate Councils in Kano State with a view to enhance developmental services which was the initial rationale behind creation of the additional Emirates.

Accordingly, Gaya Emirate was the first Emirate Council to collaborate with SEDSAC in carrying out developmental programs in some communities under the auspices of the Gaya Emirate. Meanwhile, the appointment of Alh. Ali Gaya who was a professional civil servant as the new Emir of Gaya, hopely, the tempo will be sustain and promote the Emirate to a higher extent.

Also SEDSAC prays for Allah’s forgiveness to the late elders states man, His Highness, Alh. Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya and wishes for divine intervention during the reign of his successor Alh. Ali Ibrahim Gaya.
