An old whistle about 97 years old. It was made in England in 1343 AH and was used by the policemen of Makkah & Madinah.
On one side written on it is the Najd Sultanate with the date and on the other side the word “police” in the middle, and on the circle from the top the phrase Al-Haram Al-Sharif.
It was used by the policeman to draw the attention of the owners of the vehicles, such as the signal now.
It was also used in Tawaf to start and stop the circumambulation around the Ka’bah.
