As the independent Electoral Commission INEC continued its registration of new voters and revalidation of others,The founder of Hasiya Ibrahim Sani Emancipation Foundation, HISANEF Major-General Ibrahim Sani who has appealed to men and women as well as the youth who have attained the suffrage age of 18 to ensure they register and acquire the card.
He said it is with the card, the people of Kano will be able to vote competent leaders,and qualified representatives who will work assiduously towards the development of Kano state.
He also said the people should know that registration is conducted either online via the internet or at the various INEC offices, and that the prospective voters should contact officials for more information.
He urged citizens to keep the environment clean, observe standard sanitation procedures to prevent and stop the occurrences of epidemics like cholera, typhoid and malaria for a healthy populace, as healthy population is the backbone of a secured society.

The philanthropist tasked the youth to refrain from drug abuse and other social vices like stealing and rape.
He stressed the need for security vigilance and called on Kano people to work towards overall social development of the state.
