Isa Wali Organises Tree Planting Awareness For School Girls

Isa Wali empowerment and development initiative has organized a sensitization and taught  20 school girls how to effectively plant trees for erosion control and other benefits generated from tree planting.

The Executive secretary of Isa Wali empowerment development initiative Amina Hanga said they decided to organize the tree planting in collaboration with Advocates of green environment /

 

Amina Hanga said they are teaching the girls the importance of planting trees and how trees affect the lives of people.

She said in collaboration with Tarauni communities and the advocates of green environment the planting of trees is very important for the environment.

Looming Environmental Catastrophy In Kano Metropolis 

Amina Hanga added that after planting the trees they will continue to teach the girls the importance of looking after the trees.

One of the Girls Hasiya Ismail said as young girls she has been taught the importance of planting trees for erosion control and minimizing excessive heat.

She urges fellow girls to engage in planting trees for the benefit of society.

Commenting further the Tarauni village head Muhammad Bin Abdallah commended Isa Wali’s empowerment and development initiative for involving the children of the less privileged in tree planting campaign.
