<p>Jigawa state Government has paid N 1,452,410,454,65 as retirement benefit to seven hundred and ninety three retired Civil servant.</p>
<p>Executive secretary state and local Government Hon.Hashim Ahmad Fagam stated this while briefing news men.</p>
<p>Said the payment is for the first quarter of 2021 fiscal year.</p>

<p>Fagam explained that the beneficiaries are from the state government, local government and local education authority.</p>
<p>&#8220;A total of 793 workers retired out of which 589 person were paid retirement benefits,144 death benefit,53 death pension balance and Seven person recieved refund of 8% contribution&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;288 workers from state,255 from local Government and 250 workers from local Government education authority&#8221;</p>
<p>He commended Governor Badaru for considering the payment of retirees benefits as at when due.</p>
