Cleric Flays Absence Of Politicians At National Qur’anic Recitation Competition

A reknown Islamic scholar in kano Malam Tijjani Bala Kalarawi has expressed concern over the absent of local government councils chairmen at venue of the ongoing National Qur’anic recitations competition holding in Kano.

Malam Tijjani Bala Kalarawi raised the alerm in an interview with Newsmen at New campus, Bayero university Kano.

He said it is uncalled for the political office holders shunning away from very important national religious gathering that represents the thirty six states across the country and the federal capital Territory, Abuja.

According to the cleric, the presence of the political leaders will motivate and booster the morale of the participants and other entourage.

He urged the participating students not to be demoralized for not seeing their political leaders at the venue of the competition and focus on their recitations as they made the right choice.

Kalarawi used medium and enjoined well to do individuals and organisations to invest in promoting Qur’anic recitations at their respective domains.
