Improved Technology:LG information officers receives training in Zamfara

The fourteen (14) local government information officers in zamfara state has began a training workshop on news gathering through modern technology tag ” Back to Basics advance for Future” in the state.

The two day training workshop was organized by the zamfara state local government service commission in Collaboration with Updates Consultancy services which started on Wednesday in Gusau the state capital.

 

The aimed was to acquinte the local government information officers on adequate reporting on developmental activities for a better zamfara.

According to the Managing Diector and chief executive of update consultancy services during the opening ceremony Suleman Haidara Damgaladima said the workshop was on Technics for Local Goverment information news gathering through public relations and modern technology.

Haidara explained that at the end of the training,the participants would be verse with modern Technics and more relevant on reporting the state economically and socially to the outside world.

Earlier on,the Executive chairman zamfara state local government service commission Alhaji Haruna Salau said local government administration has now change for better service delivery.

The Executive chairman further revealed that the training was in line with modern technology.

“The information gathering now a days was indequate,hence the need to update information officers”.

He said there was significant improvement in the local government administration,”this was as a result of commitment by the present administration of Governor Bello Mattawale, local government is now revitalize”.

“Therefore at the end of this workshop the participants will be acquinted with the skills on the use of public relations research, strategic planning, investment promotion, tourism promotion and crisis management solution”.
