Gombe State House of Assembly’s Honourable Speaker was impeached Tuesday morning.
Mr Abubakar Ibrahim, the impeached speaker represents Yamaltu West in Gombe House of Assembly.
In a verified facebook of Mr Nasiru Abdulkarim member of the assembly from Dukku zone posted that the speaker was impeached by 16 out of the 24 members of the house.
The Assembly have also elected Honorable Muhammad Abubakar Leggerewa from Akko constituency as the new speaker.
