As Kano Pillars FC is preparing to participate in this season 2020/2021 Africa Continental Tournament, the state government has set up a standing committee and sub-committees to make all necessary arrangements for the team, and come up with possible ways for Pillars to win the tournament.

In a statement by Director Media and Communications to Office Of the SSA Sports Suhaib Awwal said Kano Pillars will play ASC Jaraaf of Senegal in the preliminary round of the tournament.
