Tarauni is among the famous local governments in Nigeria, yet nowhere to be found in the list of developing local governments despite having all it takes to be the most developed, but failure of those who have been handling the affairs of the local government to meet the deadline and uplift it to greater level leaves it in deteriorating condition which needs to be change as soon as possible.
So far the only exceptional candidate among all the candidates jostling for chairmanship in Tarauni is the current Senior Special Assistant to the Kano State Governor on political affairs Hon. sani Muhammad.
A well experienced politician, a seasoned businessman who is well known in carrying out humanitarian activities as well as helping youths towards actualizing their educational, economical sports and political dreams.
The political gladiator has been active in partisan politics since the return of democratic rule in Nigeria with undisputed track record in good governance, notwithstanding his masterclass political thinking which paved way for governor Ganduje to appoint him as his political aide.
Is worth recalling that Hon. Sani Muhammad sacrifices his candidature for the seat of member House of Representatives for the sake of the APC success.
The talented politician decided to contest for this novel seat in order to rescue Tarauni local government from total collapse as a result of bad governance and misplacement of priorities as Tarauni is left behind in terms of infrastructural development.
Hon. Sani Muhammad comes with an agenda of repositioning, restructuring and providing good and credible leadership that people Tarauni has been dreaming for.
Changing the bad narratives of poor and dilapidated healthcare facilities, rebuilding educational sector and empowering women and youths would be focal points of Hon. Sani Muhammad if elected as chairman Tarauni Local government.
