A Mobile Court attached to the State Task Force committees on Monthly Sanitation has confiscated 30 bags of adulterated Gari from five traders at the Yankura market in Sabon Gari.
The Sanitation Vanguards of the Ministry, Known as ( Dakarun Tsafta) arrested the culprit with the adulterated products of Gari and charged them to court last week in order to deter others from repeating the atrocity.
During the Court ruling, Magistrate Auwal Muhammad has sentenced the 4 accused to one-month imprisonment or pay a fine of 10, 000:00 Naira each,; He then ordered the arrest of the other person and his shop locked.

On the seized products, he, therefore, directed all the 30 bags to be destroyed by the State Ministry of Environment so as to prevent people from consuming poison.
Speaking after the judgment, the State Commissioner for Environment Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Getso, commended Magistrate Auwal for his uprightness and upholding justice.
In a statement by the Ministry’s Public relations officer, Abbas Abba Habeeb said the commissioner Dr. Kabiru Getso then charged the Sanitation Vanguards and other staff of the Ministry to be more vigilant in discharging their assigned duties in sanitizing the entire city of Kano in all aspect.
