The state shall handle all its responsibilities

The state shall handle all its responsibilities fairly, strongly, and insubordinately. One of the basic features of the state is sovereignty, although it is rarely applied strongly, a strong government shall invariably exercise a sense of administrative and political independence.

It is much bizarre to assess any activity before it is finished, but there is a common Hausa proverb, ” A good Friday shall have its better route from Wednesday.” As I begin to see the diminished image of this administration, I can’t precisely predict when and how can such a purported dead end be changed or moved back to the positive line. It is very difficult to conjure any legacy up, as the administrative train moves to its station. If care isn’t taken, the ruling party shall count defeat embarrassingly.

I study the extent to which security challenges are handled. The escalation of insurgency to the northwest, beyond the northeastern similar type, is an indication that the previous development in this area has been eroded. If a state governor can be attacked as dangerous as it happened to the Borno State governor, I don’t think if a common man can see the daylight in this type of station.

Similarly, I can’t say the economic strategies introduced by this administration are not productive, they are and aren’t. They are in the sense that economic policies aimed at sustaining the lives of ordinary citizens are very helpful, but most of them lack sustainable structure.

For example, the government granted soft loans of Trader Money to individuals and until now the government is waiting for the payment of such loans. The government also introduced the Npower program, prior to the termination of the program, the volunteers who have been breastfed and automatically weaned are looking for the way out, and the same government is trying to engage many volunteers, so, in this trend, if about a million youths are to be fed and weaned prematurely,  I don’t think the program should be as meaningful as it is purported.

Now that the government is introducing the so-called survival fund, the government shall know that if you give a dime to the hungry beggar, the beggar must go and buy some food and will still come back to beg.

It is better for the government to introduce more viable economic measures, this will not be practicable until a sound economic team is established. The loan grants should be replaced with more meaningful economic and social programs.

Similarly, while fighting corruption, corruption is still attacking this administration, to the extent that, the commissions handling it are becoming ” the toothless bulldogs”, they can bark and can’t bite, Magu is now under trial, many similar cases still rise and fall.

I see the way this administration handles and executes projects, if this administration does not redouble its efforts such projects will soon be abandoned and forgotten, the government shall know that administrative hours and days are shorter and the wait for no one.

Some government policies are so stern to the extent that their consequences are not popular to the citizenry. The government should be more liberal with some of its policies especially the economic ones. Late Malam Aminu Kano once defined democracy as, ”  A mix between liberalism and Conservativeness.”

Finally, base on what I can see now the dead body of PDP is now being reincarnated by the political will of the APC, but citizens shall forget the party and go for the good people, for in their attempts to get out from the heat, people may end up, ” moving out of the frying pan  into the fire.”
