The Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris is dead.
A source close to the palace told Nigerian Tracker that the Emir who reigned for 45 years passed away .
Governor Nasir El Rufai said the funeral prayer for Late Alhaji Shehu Idris will take place around 5 o clock in the afternoon.
The monarch is one of the oldest in the North and died at the age of 84.
During his 45th anniversary on the throne of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris sought for forgiveness.
