The Man who Wants to Marry President Buhari’s Daughter

In the last few days, reports emerged that Hanan Buhari, one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughters would tie the nuptial knot with Muhammad Turad Sha’aban, a promising young man who is a Special Assistant to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio.

According to the reports, the high profile wedding dubbed the ‘First Wedding’ would be conducted on September 4, 2020, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

Hanan Buhari, whose real name is Aisha, graduated with a first-class in Digital Photography in December 2019 from Ravensbourne University, London.

Ms Hanan, who is passionate in photography had also held an exhibition in Abuja, where she showed some of her projects.

Who is Muhammed Turad?

Muhammad Turad Sha’aban is the son of Honorable Sani Sha’aban, a former lawmaker who represented Sabon Gari, Zaria during the 5th Assembly, and also a former gubernatorial candidate in 2007 and 2011 elections.

Alhaji Sha’aban holds the traditional title of Damburam Zazzau in the Zazzau Emirate Council.

 

Mr Turad’s mother Hajiya Munira Marwa, a prominent personality is currently married to a former Borno and Lagos States Military Governor/Administrator Brigadier. Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa.

Friends describe Mr. Muhammad Turad as a humble, vibrant, and charismatic young man with much potential.

Mr Turad is a graduate in finance and management, who also holds two master’s degrees including an MBA.

He’s a financial expert that has worked with reputable companies in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) such as Nexus Financial Advisors.

Upon his return to Nigeria, “Turado” as he is fondly called by his family, completed his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) scheme with the Nigeria LNG Limited.

Furthering his career in finance, he joined the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), while also pursuing entrepreneurial interests by the side.

Presently, he is employed as a Special Assistant (SA) to the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio.

Mr. Turad was also conferred with the title of Wakilin Tudun Wada by the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris.
