Youths in Kano state under the auspices of Kano Youths Political Forum has asked Christians and some of their organizations to stop making an unguarded statement on Islamic affairs and its judgments.
This was contained in a statement by the Secretary-General of the union Mudassir Faruk Iya.
The statement said it is of paramount importance considering how some Christians and some of their organization embarked on unnecessary statements and accusations regarding death sentence delivered by Kano State Shari’a court on Yahaya Sharif who blasphemed the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The Youth Forum said the judgment is in accordance with Islamic teachings, and it is commendable to see Shari’a courts delivering such judgment, which is what they are meant for.
Hence, is uncalled for Christians and their organizations to condemn such judgment while we are occupying the same country , The Federal Republic of Nigeria as citizens which were declared by the Nigerian constitution as secular.
The statement said the constitution of Nigeria guarantees every Nigerian to practice his religion according to how he prefers but an unguarded statement on Islam will not augur well for the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria
Therefore, we are calling them to desist from engaging themselves in anything related to Islamic Judgments as it affects the Muslims only and their religions. tea.
Youth Day and How they are being short-changed
They should learn to focus on their religious and keep mute on anything that does not concern them, as Muslims normally does
The statement noted that Muslims have been prohibited by their creator not to insult ordinary people let alone revered Prophets of Allah.
Mudassir Faruk Iya said Almighty Allah in the glorious Book of AL_Quran has directed Muslims not to insult the deities of other religions which shows respect and decorum Islam is known for.
If Almighty God had wished he would have made us the same people race, color, and ethnicity.
