The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) Kano State branch has advised its members to embrace the ‘Online Solution’ popularly known as ‘PPMC Customer Express Portal’ recently introduced by the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC).

The IPMAN Chairman in Kano, Alhaji Bashir Dan-Malam gave the advice in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday.

He said the advice became necessary in view of the fact that the new technology would give them the opportunity to transact their business online without any stress.

“As you may have heard, PPMC has deployed an Online solution called PPMC CUSTOMER EXPRESS. This online solution will allow PPMC to serve you faster and better, within the confines of your homes or offices.”

According to him, the newly introduced policy or technology would promote their business by giving marketers the opportunity to carry out their business with ease even at the comfort of their homes or offices.

“So I’m calling on all our members to comply and support the new policy as they stand to gain a lot from it.

“This is a state-of-the-art portal solution that we have been waiting for as it has been the practice in many countries,” Dan-Malam said.

He said, in addition, the new customer Express enables marketers to renew their Bulk Purchase Agreements (BPAs) online.

“You can also order PMS, AGO, and other products on line, with your laptop or mobile phones.

“It will allow marketers to pay for these services online or copy the RRR and pay at any of the commercial banks of their choice,” Dan-Malam said.

Bauchi Assembly supports the establishment of Youth parliament.

The IPMAN chairman commended the Management of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) under the leadership of Mele Kyari for introducing policies that are meant to ensure accountability and transparency in oil and gas industry.

He specifically commended the Managing Director of the PPMC, Alhaji Lawal Musa for his commitment to providing excellent customer services in the company.

He, therefore, called on the Federal Government to appreciate the present leadership of NNPc under Mele Kyari for his effort to ensure that the company does not lose revenue just like in the past.

“The Federal Government should appreciate the present NNPC GMD, Mr Mele Kyari for his commitment to fight against corrupt practices in oil and gas industry.”he added.
