Bleaching causes Kidney Failure: Health Experts.
As the celebration of world kidney day continues health experts say bleaching causes kidney disease among people who engage in excessive bleaching.
The health experts said people who are constantly bleaching should abstain from it so that they will spare their skins and well being.
In an interactive session with journalists today in Kano, the coordinator Nephrology dialysis unit of Aminu Kano teaching Hospital Malam Saminu Muhammad said people should refrain from bleaching and if they continue to do so it will destroy their skin.
On preventive measures ,Malam Saminu told the Nigerian tracker that in order to distance themselves from kidney failure people should immediately drink water when they feel thirsty so that their kidney will continue to function effectively.
He pointed out that when people felt that they want urinate ,they should urgently do it, so that their kidney will have a rest.
The head of the nephrology department hinted that dialysis for those suffering from kidney disease is expensive and there is need for government to put mechanisms so that the less privilege can afford it.
According to him in Niger republic kidney dialysis is free and there are many Niger republic indigenes living in Nigeria that use to travel up to Niamey for kidney dialysis
