The senator representing Kano North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Barau Jibrin says he is a political bull dozer as far as 2023 Kano Governorship election is concerned.
The senator made the assertion while answering questions from palace correspondents shortly after he condoled the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero over the demise of his mother Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero.

Senator Barau said its not yet time for campaigning the 2023 gubernatorial seat in Kano,but as at now my main pre-occupation is representing my constituents at the National Assembly.
But when it’s time you know iam a political bull dozer ,I bulldoze every one that comes my way ,my political history have shown that iam ready to win over my opponents in political contests, said senator Barau Jibrin.
There have been speculations in some political quarters in Kano of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s plan to swap seat with senator Barau Jibrin who happens to come from the same senatorial district with Senator Barau Jibrin.
When Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999 a number of second term governors gave gubernatorial tickets to senators representing their zones and in return the governors take over the senatorial seats.
As a result of that the red chamber has now become a dumping ground for substantial number of Nigerian former governors.
