Kano Pillars chairman, Suraju Shaibu Yahaya has alleged that detractors have embarked on a campaign of calumny to derail the players, management, and technical crew of the Kano side.

Jambull as he is fondly referred to by his admirers  raised the alarm on Monday during a press chat with sportswriters held at the club secretariats

He rang the allegations that those he described as mischief makers were bent on destroying Kano Pillars by propagating religious, tribal, and political sentiments against the goals of the entire team.

He said “football has no borders, it speaks every language, it has no religion. Kano Pillars today is owned by Kano state, but its tentacles spread beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Pillars: “We Are In Senegal For Football War”

When asked to reveal the identity of those behind the alleged mischief been fashioned against Kano Pillars FC,   he said “therefore what we aspire for is results and we will do all the needful to get results, all those using the antics of tribalism, ethnicity, and religion in an attempt to derail us should go and have a rethink, because Kano Pillars is bigger than any individual.

“We are equal to the task of managing the club as mandated us by the state government and we will consult and work with all relevant stakeholders, we have put CAFCF behind us, we have restrategized and our goal  is to continue to float  Kano Pillars on the continental stage and to also improve on our past records in NPFL and continental club side football.”

He appealed to all stakeholders to come aboard to support the Sai Masu Gida, further pleading with those who are aggrieved in the past to sheath their sword and walk forward to work for the upliftment of the Kao soccer warlords.

Jambul revealed that the club has secured the patent rights on all Kano Pillars brand and merchandise, warning that henceforth the club would initiate criminal proceedings against violators of the intellectual properties belonging to the NPFL  giants.

He also cautioned the players to step up their tempo of the game, noting that the management will impose a penalty against poor display by the players.

“as we are gearing for the new NPFL season, we will not accommodate underperformance, the players’ wages are intact and are paid as at when due, and I make it bold to state that, we will assess the players after their first four matches in the new coming season, their performance will determine what type of penalty or motivation they will get from the management,  as the case may be.”Jambul stated.
