Breaking:PDP Aminu Wali Faction Says It Will Participate In Kano LG Election

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kano Says it will participate in Kano Local Government election slated for January 16 next year.

 

Muhammina Lamido Stated this while addressing newsmen in Kano.

 

According to Muhammina Lamido, they heard a rumor going around that the PDP is not participating in the local government election in Kano is untrue.

 

Yesterday the chairman caretaker committee of the PDP Danladi Kagara told Newsmen in Kano that their party is not participating as according to him the result is already predetermined.

Danladi Kagara said the PDP has lost confidence in KANSIEC the state’s independent electoral body in conducting the free and fair election.

Recently the PDP in Kano has been enmeshed in crisis where by the Aminu Wali faction and former Kano state governor’s faction that is Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are claiming the leadership.

Danladi Kagara who is currently Heading the caretaker committee is seen as backing the Kwankwasiyya movement in the PDP.

According to Danladi Kagara, their party will not participate in the forthcoming local government polls relating the issue with their past experience where the state government used thugs to intimidate and harass the voters in 2019.

He also said Islam admonished followers to leave things which they are in doubt and as such their party is in serious doubt and they will not put credibility to a flawed process.

But Muhammina Lamido who is leading the Aminu Wali faction of the party today said they will participate in the polls as they are not aware of Danladi Kagara’s led caretaker committee’s position
