<p>The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has challenged the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN for not involving the traditional leaders in their human development policies and programmes.</p>

<p>Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero further said it is not easy for the traditional rulers to identify and recover the beneficiaries of the CBN&#8217;s Anchor Borrower scheme and other related programmes as agitated by the outfit while they were not involved earlier in the process.</p>

<p>According to him, the process of selecting the potential beneficiaries from the financial institution are not helping matters hence the need for adjustment and adopt public awareness campaign to avoid hitches along line.</p>

<p>Earlier, the leader of the CBN delegation who is the Deputy Director Development finance Alhaji Sani Muhammad Faragai said they were at palace to inform the monarch on their new scheme tagged National youths investment Fund Scheme to be flagged off in Kano as almost one hundred billion set aside for the programme.</p>
<p>Similarly, the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero received the south-south political zone residing in Kano on a homage at his palace, urging them to live peaceful with their host community and respect their culture and norms.</p>
<p>He therefore solicited the blessing, support and cooperation of the emir in directing the District, village and ward heads as well as other traditional titled holders to take part in the programme.</p>
