Arrangements have been concluded to receive the PRP 2019 Gubernatorial candidate in Kano, Malam Salihu Sageer Takai who recently dumps PRP for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano

His Spokesman Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Huguma stated this in an interview with the Nigerian Tracker.

Abdullahi Musa Huguma said the party leader in Kano in conjunction with APC National Secretariat had arranged in the next one week to receive Malam Salihu Sageer Takai in a planned robust ceremony to be held in Kano.

‘’The reasons why Malam Salihu Sageer Takai’s   reception ceremony to APC was delayed is because the party leader in Kano and Governor of the state Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is committed as the APC campaign  chairman for the Edo State Governorship election that is why as at now the ceremony could not hold’ said Abdullahi Musa Huguma

Finally, Takai cross-carpets to APC

Malam Abdullahi Musa Huguma said the representatives of the All Progressives Congress from the National Headquarters are arranging well to ensure that Malam Takai is well received by the APC.

Currently, Malam Salihu Sageer Takai is meeting with the National Secretariat of the APC and the Kano state government to ensure smooth reception into the party in the next eight to seven days.

On the rumors going around that Malam Salihu Sageer was appointed member of the board of Nigeria’s Port Authority, Malam Abdullahi Musa Huguma said it was not true and is the work of rumor mongers.

He said no one can also prevent them from circulating such rumors.

Recently the popular gubernatorial candidate in Kano Malam Salihu Sageer Takai decamped from the People’s Redemption Party(PRP) on whose platform he contested the 2019 gubernatorial election and came third  in the first round of the election

Malam Takai had also contested the election in the year 2011 and 2015 under the platforms of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the People’s Democratic Party PDP
