The NASRUL-LAHI-L-FATIH society NASFAT Northwest zonal Chairman Alh. Kazeem Taoreed says the Emir of Kano Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero is expected to lead the first prayer in the NASFAT newly built ultra-modern mosque after the eid El-Kabir festivities.
Alh. Kazeem stated this after the Emir who is also the Amir Kano Turbaned the Zonal Missioner of NASFAT KANO Branch Ustaz ISHAQ ZUBAIR and Abdullahi Ibrahim Abdulwahab as Imam and Deputy Imam respectively.
A statement released by the Media Adviser to the zonal chairman Toheeb Jaiyeola said the ceremony was held at the Emir’s courtyard.
According to the statement, the Chief Imam of Kano Prof. Sani Zaharadeen conducted competency tests for the duo to reconfirm their capability for the post of Iman and Deputy Imam.
Ustaz ISHAQ ZUBAIR and Abdullahi Ibrahim Abdulwahab were presented to the Emir for recognition and approval after a thorough and rigorous testing process.
On approval, the Emir admonished all to be above board and reconfirmed that the Emirate is well pleased with NASFAT as an Islamic organization.

After prayers at the Emir’s palace, the newly turbaned Imam and his Deputy were taken to the emirate secretariat, and their names registered with the registry.
In a similar development, the Hakimi Fagge Alh Mahmoud Ado Bayero has congratulated the NASFAT for living above expectation and upholding the Islamic doctrines.
It will be recalled that the Emir recently gave approval for the mosque to be used for Jumaat services and other activities, the turbaning of the Imams is the final of the activities in mosque approval.
The occasion was witnessed by the membership of NASFAT and led by the stakeholders. Responding, the Zonal Chairman of the group said this is a turning point in the history of NASFAT in the Northwest and that this honor given to NASFAT will further endear the society to the populace and that no stone will be left unturned in promoting an enlightened Muslim society.
