People from different walks of life and from the 44 local governments including the academics who are supporting Malam Takai decided to pick three political parties at which they settle for PRP.

‘’Even when we are about to decamp to PRP in 2019, Malam Takai said we should not go back to PRP with the aim of contesting gubernatorial election but in the end, the Party executives decided to field Malam Salihu Sagi Takai as Kano state PRP Gubernatorial candidate” said Huguma.
