The secretary Kwankwasiyya political movement known as Kwankwaso Kawai ,Bashir Sanata said aftermath of Kano lockdown has turned many businessmen to beggars.

Bashir Sanata made the statement during an Exclusive interview with Nigerian Tracker.

The politician said there is no logic to re-open viewing centers in a populous state like Kano whose people relied on day to day search of livelihood and keep markets closed.

When asked of the effort made by the state government in easing the lock down as markets are available on the eased days, Bashir Sanata noted that the government needs to lift the total lockdown for people to go out and find succor.

‘’ A number of people have lost their capital in Kano state as a result of the Covid 19 lockdown,  opening markets is very essential, Islamic schools and other places ,viewing centers are more chucked up when operating than markets, therefore its illogical to keep markets closed and allow viewing centers operate’’ said Bashir Sanata.

He said if viewing centers continued and schools remain closed the aim of killing Covid 19 is defeated.

Bashir added that neighboring states who are on total lockdown have since lifted completely so that the economy will bounce back.
