KAROTA arrests 33 year old Man after robbing a shop in Kano.

A personnel of Kano Roads and Traffic Agency KAROTA, Magaji Auwalu Ahmad, intercepted a fleeing criminal riding Honda brand car after robbing POS and a perrfume shop.
The suspect arrested, are Sharif Yusuf, 33 year old Man of Dakata quarters in Kano state .
Yusuf who stormed the shop along Suleiman Gezewa Street, Tudun Wada Area of the state in company of his accomplice, Samuel Moses ,a resident of Sabon Gari and succeeded in carting away the sum of two hundred thousand Naira, N200.000.
Luck ran out of the suspected thieves after the driver who had already dropped his accomplice carrying the money was intercepted along Airport road Kano .
The vigilant KAROTA personnel observed there was suspicious car approaching a check point and sought the help of two vehicles and barricade the road.
His suspicion was confirmed after some persons who chased the criminals raised alarm which led to the arrest of the suspect Sharif Yusuf.
In a statement released by Kano Road Traffic agency Public relations officer ,Nabulusi Abubakar Kofar Naisa said the suspects were moved to the agency’s office and sum of two hundred thousand Naira N200,000 was recovered.
On his part the shop owner Isah Husaini Tudun Wada, thanked the agency for arresting and recovery of his stolen money and prayed to Allah to continue to guide them in all their affairs.
The Managing Director of the Agency,. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has charged the personnel to remain disciplined and resolute in discharging their duties.
He urged the public to accord his men necessary support in carrying their duties as enshrined in the law that constituted the
agency.
The suspect will be handed over to the police for further investigation .
