<p>Eyewitnesses described the arrest as dramatic, with police arriving in a truckload, fully armed and allegedly threatening to shoot anyone who intervened. Rimigado reportedly asked to see the arrest warrant or reasons for his detention, but the police declined.</p>

<p>A lawyer present at the scene, Ridwan Zakariyya, said police tried to seize his phone and threatened to shoot him. The police team has since left the Bompai Police Headquarters for an unknown destination.</p>
