<p>The chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in Kano, Hashim Suleiman Dungurawa, said the NNPP presidential candidate is expected to garner at least 10 million votes from Kano alone during the 2027 presidential election.</p>
<p>The chairman made the statement when he received the executives of the Kano Online Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists at his office.</p>
<p>Dungurawa said the reason why the NNPP had some setbacks during the last presidential election in 2023 was that the Independent National Electoral Commission did not clearly inscribe the party&#8217;s logo on the ballot paper, and due to that, a large number of voters were misled.</p>

<p>Dungurawa said the NNPP national leader, if elected president, will make sure he reflects the achievements he recorded in Kano as governor between 1999 and 2003 and between 2011 and 2015.</p>

<p>He said one of Kwankwaso’s visions is to send 1,000 children of the masses from each of the 36 states of the federation to study abroad free of charge.</p>

<p>On security, the Kano NNPP chairman said the NNPP national leader will also employ one million soldiers, one million policemen, one million DSS personnel, and one million Civil Defence Corps to boost national security and bring an end to the killings going on in many parts of the country.</p>
<p>Hashim Suleiman Dungurawa added that the government of Kano State under Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has done well in infrastructural development and education.</p>
<p>Dungurawa further urged the Online Media Chapel of the NUJ to disseminate information for the good of the people and indicated interest to collaborate with the chapel to spread the programmes of the NNPP.</p>
<p>On his part, the chairman of the chapel, Comrade Abubakar Abdulkadir Dangambo, said they were at the NNPP office to present the executives of the chapel and to collaborate with the party.</p>
