<p>Abdulkadir Muhammad Indabawa, a retired commissioner of police, says he is earning less than 100 thousand Naira every month as a retired commissioner of police.</p>
<p>The retired commissioner made the revelation during an interview with Hausa online medium DCL Hausa, which was monitored by Nigerian Tracker.</p>
<p>The retired commissioner said that, as a result, he will not allow his children to be employed in the police force.</p>

<p>Abdulkadir Indabawa added that he is lucky to have good friends who help him steer his life up to this day, but the pension being earned by the police is very discouraging.</p>
<p>Nigerian Tracker reports that recently there have been some protests in Abuja by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, and a skit maker, Danbello, over the pension of police officers across the country.</p>
