<p>The Provost of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta, Kano State, Professor M. A. Wailare, has joined numerous dignitaries and citizens in mourning the death of Durbin Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Koguna, a respected traditional title holder and statesman.</p>
<p>In a condolence message made available to journalists in Kano, Professor Wailare described the late Alhaji Koguna as “a man of honour, humility, and service,” whose lifetime achievements in leadership, public service, and community development will be remembered for generations.</p>

<p>“The death of Durbin Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Koguna, is a great loss not only to the Kano Emirate but to Nigeria as a whole. He was a mentor, a patriot, and a man whose wisdom and dedication to national unity stood out throughout his years of service,” the Provost stated.</p>
<p>Professor Wailare noted that the late elder statesman made significant contributions to national development and the promotion of Nigeria’s image both at home and abroad, describing him as “a man who carried Nigeria’s name with pride and dignity wherever he went.”</p>

<p>He further extended the condolences of the management, staff, and students of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta, to the Kano Emirate Council and the Koguna family, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.</p>
<p>The Provost also urged the family to take solace in the impactful and fulfilled life the late Durbin Kano lived, adding that his legacy of honesty, wisdom, and devotion to public service will continue to serve as an inspiration to many.</p>
