<p>Abdullahi made the remarks during the inaugural session of the Citizens Accountability Report (CAR) for Kano State Local Governments, held in Kaduna. Addressing stakeholders, he emphasized that citizens must view themselves not as passive observers but as active partners in governance.</p>
<p>“The Citizens Accountability Report is designed to serve as a bridge between the people and their local councils,” Abdullahi explained. “It enables residents to understand how public funds are managed, what development requests are made by communities, and how those demands are addressed by local authorities.”</p>
