<p>Kano State has earned national commendation for its commitment to transparency and accountability following the release of the 2025 Transparency and Integrity Index (TII) by the Center for Fiscal Transparency and Public Integrity (CeFTPI) with support from the MacArthur Foundation.</p>
<p>The report, which assessed all 36 states on fiscal openness, anti-corruption control, and citizen participation, ranked Kano 2nd State among Nigeria’s top performers, recognizing its steady progress in governance reform and ethical administration.</p>
